As a general guideline, we suggest extending the pad at least one foot beyond the building's width and length. However, you may opt for a larger pad to create a small perimeter walkway. Installation duration varies based on the size of the structure. Small carports typically require a few hours, while larger carports generally take a full day. Medium-sized metal buildings usually need 2 to 3 days for installation, and large metal buildings can take 3 to 5 days. Our team handles the entire installation process, provided your foundation is prepared and level.

We provide two insulation options: double bubble r5 and 2" fiberglass r7. The double bubble insulation primarily addresses moisture control, while the 2" fiberglass insulation manages both moisture and temperature, offering an r-value of r-17.

The most critical preparation step is ensuring your site is level or within a few inches of level before our installation crew arrives. Additionally, it's essential to provide clear, unobstructed access to the building site for our delivery truck and crew to ensure a smooth installation process.

Permit requirements for metal buildings vary depending on your location and the structure's size and intended use. In most cases, a building permit is necessary. However, some jurisdictions may not require permits for certain structures like carports. It's essential to check with your local building department to determine the specific requirements for your project. If needed, we can provide standard engineered drawings to assist with your permit application process.

The cost of metal buildings is determined by several factors, including the size, style (such as roof type), materials selected (like steel gauge and siding options), and any additional features such as doors, windows, or insulation.

We provide a 3-month workmanship warranty from the date of installation for all our metal buildings. For customers who upgrade to the optional 12-gauge steel framing, we offer an extended 20-year rust-through warranty on the framing and most roof panels. Our standard 14-gauge tubing and 29-gauge sheeting come with a 10-year warranty against rust-through.
